Kronos is a slot machine made by WMS Gaming. The games made by WMS, like Kronos slots, are quite new to the UK, despite having been very popular in the USA for many years. Kronos is one of the best examples of their G+ series of slots from WMS and is still really popular in Las Vegas casinos.
Try Scientific Games Slots for Free & Find Recommended Casinos. Scientific Games, or SG as the company is more commonly known, is a powerful presence on the UK online and offline gambling scene. As is common in other industries, in online gambling there are a couple of large conglomerates that own more companies than you think. SG is that monster.
Kronos is a 5-reel, 20-payline slot machine from WMS. The Greek mythology-themed game comes as a direct sequel to the popular Zeus slot, and features various theme-related symbols, such as the winged horse Pegasus, Olympus mountain, Kronos himself, as well as his treasure, including a golden throne, temple, ornate rings, and gold medallion, the latter acting as Scatter symbol. Wilds come in the form of a roaring lion, and they can only land on the middle three reels.
Before you start searching for the god's treasure, we would advise you to adjust your stake. To choose the number of active lines, press 'Lines' button, and 'Bet/Line' to select the coin value ranging from $0.01 to $3.00. To set the reels in motion, click on 'Spin', or 'Autoplay' option, if you don't want to spin the reels manually.
Kronos slot machine benefits from stacked symbols and the Free Spins feature. To trigger the Free Spins feature, you are required to land three, four, or five gold medallion Scatters anywhere in view.

The number of Scatters will determine the number of free spins you win, so three medallions will give you 10 free spins, while four of them will award 25 free spins. Finally, landing five Scatters will offer as many as 100 free spins. The feature cannot be re-triggered.
In the main game, you will notice stacked Kronos symbols and stacked Wilds, that will help you create a winning more easily.
Kronos Slots Real Money
The highest potential win on Kronos slots is 2,250 coins, awarded with the help of stacked Kronos symbols.
Kronos is a high-variance slot with an average return to player (RTP) of 95.94%. Unfortunately, the Free Spins feature is a bit hard to trigger, so arm yourself with patience. The heftiest payouts are mostly created thanks to the stacked Wilds that can appear during the Free Spins feature.
Demo Game
Kronos is one of the most popular G+ WMS slots in Las Vegas and has inspired a generation of new games that are very similar.
The big thing about these games, are the free spin bonus rounds, which always creates a great atmosphere and anticipation. Kronos is quite a highly volatile game, meaning you can go through long periods without a win, but then suddenly get a super massive payout
This is good example of game play coming first in the design process.

WMS Overview
The history of WMS begins all the way back in 1943 with the Williams Manufacturing Company. Initially, Williams Manufacturing Company put most of its energy into making video arcade games and pinball machines. These games would later be added to the Midway Games library, a subsidiary of WMS. Which, by the way, is the very same Midway Games responsible for publishing some of the world’s favorite arcade games, such as NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, Mortal Kombat and more.
In 1991, WMS took its first steps into the world of casino games and video gambling when it created and published its very first video lottery machines for Oregon in 1992. For the next few years, this would be the primary focus of WMS, but of course that eventually led to a deeper dive in the casino game industry. In 1994, WMS developed its first reel slot machines, a simple offering of slots that you’d expect to find from just about any slot game maker in that time. However, it was two years later in 1996 that WMS really got its big break in the slot game industry. Reel ’em In was the first really popular slot game created by WMS, largely because of its multi-line setup and the bonus feature included with the game. At this point it became clear that WMS was here to stay in the world of slots, and its background in video came development proved to be a huge asset in terms of standing out from the crowd in the slot industry.

The success of Reel ’em In was continued with numerous other WMS slot games in the following years, including the hit title Jackpot Party. Not only was WMS Gaming growing quickly as a company at this point in time, but the casino game industry as a whole was booming and competition was about as stiff as it’s ever been. As more Native American tribes began capitalizing on the fact that they were allowed to build casinos as a result of the 1988 Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, slot games and other forms of video gambling became huge. In 1999, the casino games portion of WMS Industries split off and became WMS Gaming, giving birth to the casino game company that we all know and love today.
Major WMS Gaming Acquisitions
In 2013, WMS Industries merged with a company called Scientific Games. Scientific Games is another one of the top casino and slot game makers in the industry, so this merger allowed the companies to combine their technologies and innovations to offer a wider, better library of slot games to the public.
One thing that makes the slot games offered by WMS Gaming particularly unique is the fact that WMS has a number of licenses that allow it to use pop culture themes in its slot machines. For example, the WMS Monopoly slot game is one of its most popular. What’s particularly intriguing about this game is the fact that casinos don’t actually buy the slot machine like they do with many games; instead, WMS simply leases or licenses the game to casinos. Other WMS slot games that include pop culture themes include games based on Men in Black, Hollywood Squares, The Wizard of Oz, Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings and Clue. All of these games are completely legitimate because WMS Gaming has paid for licensing rights and has proven it can make enough money off of these slot games to justify licensing costs.
Innovations
Kronos Slot Machine Tips
What truly separates WMS Gaming from some of the other top casino and slot game manufacturers on the market are the innovations it uses in its slot games. Even back in its early days in the 1990s, WMS Gaming has always been known for raising the bar and taking its slot games to new heights. This began with Reel ’em In, which was the first multi-line slot game and the first slot game with a multi-coin bonus. This game was the foundation for many popular slot games after it.

The technology WMS Gaming uses is also one of the big things that catapulted it above the competition. For instance, its Transmissive Reels gaming platform allows its slot games to display animated video elements in a way that’s nearly seamless with the actual mechanical reels of the machine. Its operating systems have also been praised over the years—including CPU-NXT, CPU-NXT2 and CPU-NXT3—thanks to the top-of-the-line hardware WMS Gaming uses. And of course, there are also a few particularly popular cabinets made by WMS, including the Bluebird2, Gamefield xD and The Blade. These cabinets combine great hardware with stellar design to provide some of the best-looking slot machines on the market.
